Next Generation Talent Programme – Diaries of a Junior Security Consultant

Our Next Generation Talent Programme is open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds and specialisms, from students, career changers or those simply looking to move into another area of cyber security. Candidates can expect to learn more about network and infrastructure testing, how to run web app assessments, applied research, consultancy skills and much more.

The wealth of experience and knowledge gained through the programme is invaluable, and can often lead to colleagues finding interests in areas of cyber security that they didn’t know they had.

In September 2021, we started following the journey of our Junior Security Consultants from the UK as they embarked on our six-month Next Generation Talent Programme.

Month one

In month one, our cohort introduce themselves and explain why they applied to the programme, telling us more about what they've been up to so far.

Month three

Three months in and halfway through, in our second update you can find out more about training, expectations, colleagues and work life balance.

Month six

And finally, we catch up with them in month six to find out more about what they have to say about the final few months of the programme now their training has come to an end.
