We are delighted to announce our recent authorisation by GSMA as the only UK based Security Test Laboratory for the global GSMA Network Equipment Security Assurance Scheme (NESAS).
As an Authorised Test Laboratory, we will work with vendors to conduct detailed and extensive security evaluations of their mobile network equipment against a baseline of security requirements that, if met, will enable them to demonstrate conformance to the current security practice for that network product, as defined jointly by the GSMA and 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP).
NCC Group has already been granted Appointed Auditor status for GSMA NESAS, we are now one of only two global entities able to offer mobile network equipment vendors an end-to-end assurance service, from the audit of their product design and production stages, through to the security evaluation of their final network products.
James Williams, Head of Technology, Media and Telecommunications, NCC Group comments:
“Building on our appointment as a global auditor earlier this year, this authorisation by the GSMA further demonstrates our commitment to driving standards and advancing cyber improvements.
Promoting and enabling ‘secure by design’ is a key part of what we do at NCC Group and we are proud to continue to play an important role in developing responsible and sustainable organisations and supply chains across the industry.”
